Everything we had was fresh and delicious. As a Midwesterner who was born and raised in the Southwest, I have a basic expectation of "Midwestern Mexican"...it's not bad, just different from what I grew up with. At Gorditas 2 Go, I loved every bite of my beef flautas-they reminded me of home. My husband felt the same about his smothered burrito. (He was also born & raised in the Southwest.) Rice and beans were above and beyond what you usually get. My husband isn't normally a "rice guy", but he really liked the rice from Gorditas 2 go.Fresh guacamole without that processed aftertaste- a large portion with freshly smashed avocado, fresh chopped tomatoes and jalapeños.

The food quality was good. The torta was big and loaded. Im just sad that the picture showed beans and rice, so thats what I thought I was receiving with the Torta plate. No, you just get the Torta. Also, never received a slice of Tres Leches cake, just an ice cream cup. No communication was made to confirm if I even wanted this substitution. Also, I couldnt get a drink because they showed the price as 3.25, but when I selected a flavor, they ADD another 3.10 so you're actually being charged 6.35 for a drink, which isnt right at all. I don't know if that's Doordash error or merchant.
