I ate the Jalea at this place. I'm Peruvian so I have had that dish in MANY restaurants throughout my life. This was by far THE WORST rendition of jalea that I have EVER had. It was exaggeratedly salty, they didn't include any baby squid, they didn't include any mussels, there were a total of 3 shrimp in the entire thing, and they gave me a tiny little bit of red onion salad that wasn't even enough to eat with half of the dish. Aside from all that, it's obvious that they don't care about their seasoning or presentation. It was disgusting. Peruvian food is some of the most delicious in the world, and somehow they manage to even mess up the "aji verde" by making it watery and tasteless. It didn't even have any spice to it or "kick." It was just green watery salt. DISGUSTING

El Gordo never misses! I’ve had the chicken chaufa so many times, and it’s consistently delicious. The flavor is always on point—fresh, savory, and packed with that authentic Peruvian taste. They really never fail. Highly recommend if you’re craving good, reliable Peruvian food!

Generous portions, good prices, and good food! Rotisserie chicken was great! They even give chips and salsa complimentary on orders, thank you so much! Will def be ordering again.
