• 24-07-15Never had a menu that disappointed me! Every fish menu is great here. My favorite is 青花椒水煮鱼 Qing Hua Jiao Fish it has really good chongqing style flavor. Also love their whole steamed fish and most of the appetizers!

• 26-03-29When I'm in NYC, you'll find me at Blue Willow eating the 鱼香鸡 Garlic Sauced Chicken or B5. 香辣鸡翅 Blue Willow Chicken Wings it is just so delicious fresh vegetables way too much for me to eat in one sitting (but I normally do). I order again and again. Most recently tried the shrimp fried rice and was not disappointed.

• 24-12-15The flavors were good, but the portions are very disappointing. There's hardly any meat in the dishes. Got the beef with 芥篮牛 Beef & Broccoli and literally was 5 small, thin slices of beef. The 宫爆鸡 Kung Pao Chicken was better but had a lot of filler like water chestnut instead of chicken. Portions are better at this restaurant in person

The noodles had little flavor and an unpleasant texture.

酸辣汤 Hot & Sour Soup: too salty, not sour at all, so little veggies/anything; it's just spicy salty water.
擂辣椒皮蛋 Century Egg Clay Pot: so OILY. why do u need any oil in this at all? its $20+ i thought it'd be big portion but there're 2 eggs max, no garlic, not spicy enough. this is not how ur supposed to make it. the materials honestly costs less than $3 (I know because I cook and I can make this much better myself I was just lazy) -- too expensive for this quality and portion.
手撕包菜 Sautéed Cabbage first of all, the portion is too small. It's a quarter of a cabbage max, which costs less than $1. I bought it because when I cook it myself it wouldn't have "GuoQi" so i thought a restaurant can make it better but I guess not. this one does taste okay but not "good" hence not worth it.
蒜香四季豆 Garlic String Beans this one is okay but not great either
So yea I won't order again
Also the green onions in the soup are absolutely not freshly cut from today. They're def cut before and put into a freezer.
