Tostadas with Meat was amazing the meat tasted like korean ribs so damn good I didn't rate the kids plate that's for lunch tomorrow but I was already loving the Tostadas with Meat and the Bacon bits were plenty!!! Definitely ordering again!

We've only dined-in once but were already sold on this classic, sparsely decorated, old school Mexican joint tucked back at the corner of the I-35 N feeder and Reinli St. based on the simple fact that they make the best Breakfast Tacos in town. Seriously. I know that's a bold statement but you have to try 'em before you fight me. I'm not sure what they do to make such a simple thing so dang good. Mass hypnosis? Voodoo? Human sacrifice? Don't know, don't really care. I just know they are sublime (it could be the tortillas - fluffy with nice char). As are the two salsas they offer (red and green).
Whatever it is they are the best.
The one time we dined-in was for breakfast and we made the conscious decision to order something other than tacos. Migas and Chiliquiles both rocked and should be added to your weekly routine as much as your diet will allow.
In short, we can't sing the praises of this place enough. A++++

For the price the amount is great but the lack of flavor or odd flavor that I kept getting made it unenjoyable. The Enchiladas and beans had the odd flavor to it. The rice tasted old and reheated. Not my favorite probably won't try that again.

The torta had no meat. I realized now that's why it was a choice. There should be an option to ensure "no meat" proceed with order. I paid for something I won't eat. It's lettuce tomatoes and sour cream with bread.
Food quality is great but the favor is not the best. The soup has too much tomatillo. It's too thick and clumpy. Would have been great to have lime in it.
