• 24-09-09Gumbo was delicious and bigger than expected. Kids Fried Shrimp was amazing with the seasoning. Potato Salad tasted good, not too sweet. They remembered all utensils and extras. Cornbread was amazing and moist, not dry. The staff was very sweet and polite.

• 24-04-28Yea this was my last time. Food is just beyond bland. Not every item but majority. And the side of red beans and rice is served in a salsa cup like cmon. This is a shame to southern inspired cuisine.

• 26-05-17I got the angry basket Catfish Basket. Super delicious. Also got the gumbo. Seemed to be more rice then gumbo sad but still great flavor and the red beans rice taste like home. Mmmmm

• 23-11-12This meal was definitely not how it used to be. The clams were very chewy and tough. The sausages seemed to have been there for a while and didn't seem fresh. The corn was not sweet at all and was mushy. And, the sauce was minimal and had way too much garlic. ACS used to be my go-to when it first came here at the beginning of the pandemic, but with the food quality and taste declining, along with the friendly service, The Storming Crab is far superior in all areas and never disappoints. I will say that the only decent thing as far as taste goes is the gumbo, but even that has changed with hardly any seafood or meat (we had a few tiny salad shrimp is ours with minced-like sausage pieces).

• 23-05-17The Catfish Basket was perfect, tender and crispy. The Cajun Fried Pickles were so crispy. Ive tried pickles at so many places and they come out soggy and limp but these were what you'd hope for, hot and crispy! The Shrimp & Grits hit the spot as well. Again, not many people can cook grits the right way but they did it here. Cheesy and creamy, not undercooked at all. The shrimp were tender and spicy and were the perfect combination for the creamy grits
