• 24-01-24What can I say, they have perfected catfish. Nothing better in the area for sure. Why can I brag like that? Because I do not eat catfish, I tried it at one of our company events from here and it was amazing. Consistently amazing. I have tried it elsewhere and they instantly reminded me why I'm not a fan of catfish. Ms. Piggies catfish is the BOMB!

• 24-01-13so I'm going to start with the two pieces of cornbread. the corner piece that I received was extremely hard and no matter how much sweet potato/yam juice I put on it, it was still extremely dense. I tried the second piece, and it was much better (different batch?). however, that's when I realized that there isn't really much flavor to the cornbread. very buttery, though. thanks. moving on to the barbecue chicken, the barbecue sauce is very tangy, and the chicken is extremely juicy. my only problem is that the barbecue sauce completely overtakes any of the flavor that the chicken had before I put the barbecue sauce on it. not to say that it wasn't good, because it was. it's just that I could no longer taste the flavor that the chicken had on it prior to the barbecue sauce being added. next, are the greens. I love greens. if there weren't so many thin and stalk pieces it would be pretty good. I can deal with a few thin ones here and there, however not three or four with every bite - filter them out. their flavor is okay, however you'll never lose that canned collard green taste. and finally, the sweet potatoes/yams. they're cool. no real complaint. I didn't have to make them, so they tasted the way that they can be expected to taste when you didn't make them, but still good. you know? overall, I'd say aside from the hard corner piece of cornbread, the disappearance of the wonderful flavor the chicken had on it before being overpowered by the barbecue sauce, and the greens having more stems in every single bite then I expected, it was pretty good flavor-wise. maybe I'll try a different dish if I'm ever back in town.

• 22-07-13The meat was excellent, especially the pork steak. The greens were really good. But the cornbread and yams were heaven. Seriously. Try the cornbread. Order extra. Will absolutely be ordering from again.
