The Gyro Shop has been serving since 2003, starting with a food cart in New York and then expanding to a location in Dallas called "The Gyro Shop."
The Lamb Gyro Sandwich was super tasty and delicious. It was full of fresh veggies like tomatoes, cabbages and the delicious gyro meat. It was super fulfilling too. It was tangy, spicy and perfectly balanced on the salt as well. They also gave the sauces on the side that I asked for without charge. Due to the rain and cooler temperature they also wrapped it with double aluminum foil. It stayed warm. Um, it's a very underrated place I would say.

Coming from a guy who grew up on New York City halal cart food, this was great! The combo platter had moist, flavorful chicken and tender lamb, all on top of flavorful rice with a side of fresh veggies. Generous portion as well.
Nothing beats NYC halal carts haha, but this comes pretty close.

Combo RICE Platter was delicious. Seasoning was really nice, and everything tasted really fresh, including the white sauce. It's nice when it doesn't come in a packet like ketchup would from some other places. This is definitely my new go-to gyro place.

I buy frequently and this is the least meat I have ever seen. I paid 17 dollars for rice and raw veggies
