my number 1 Peruvian restaurant they always make it so delicious Lomo Saltado always been my favorite and the Beef Empanadas 🍖

The Lomo Saltado was not good. I give it a two out of five stars. the reason I give it a two is because it had big portions. The sauce was Bland, the meat was not tender, and I would not order that again.

My wife is from Peru (arrived in USA three years ago) and she likes the food here. La Mar on the Embarcadero is best Peruvian food in SF but MUCH more expensive ...... Limon next ...... Fresca may slightly shade Mi Lindo Peru but those places are all more expensive. We tend to order 1/3 of time at Limon/Fresca/Mi Lindo Peru and on birthdays etc go to La Mar. I'm writing this because our experience is better than other reviews seem to suggest. This is more of a family run and simpler place with slightly lower prices ......

I order the Saltado De Pollo fairly often. Today was a little disappointing. Was soggy and not very flavorful. Less salty tho so maybe theyre reading the reviews on here. But the Gambas Al Ajillo was awesome, I sopped the lemon garlic butter sauce up with the house bread.
