Gilroy garlic roll is so good I have to order at least 2 orders. Omakase roll has so much flavor and richness going on that I have to order it every time. Love this place.

I order from this place many times, almost every other week or so, but recently the last 2 orders aren't as good as the quality went down. The sushi rice both times isn't as moist as before where some rolls break apart. I usually order the same rolls, and both recent times, the fish on top of the rolls are skimpy. The 10 piece nigiri chef mix I ordered today has 2 old pieces of tuna on top meaning they are brownish-grey (lost of color), and has a funky smell like they been sitting out too long and not kept cold on ice. I still ate parts that were kind of "red" because I was hungry. The other fish pieces were good. I don't know if you're starting to skimp and use old fish because business is losing money or you hired a new sushi chef that isn't good. I'm giving 4 stars now because hopefully you'll bounce back.

Assorted Nigiri Mix is my favorite! I always get the 10 piece and it is so fresh and flavorful( I ask for it to be spiked). Best sushi!!

the good: the Unagi (Eel) was really really good. I have been eating eel for over 10 years and it is by far my favorite but it often done poorly. this place was exceptionally good, but you only get 2 pieces for $10. thats not worth it to me.
the bad: the Philadelphia Roll was EXTREMELY salty, I love salt, but this was extra. I also eat smoked salmon all the time and I've had better out of a tinfoil package from the local grocery store.
3 stars mainly for the bomb Eel would have been a 1 star if I hadn't gotten it though.

The chicken yakitori was slightly smaller than I expected (I haven't had it before) but it's amazing!! I highly recommend it! The nigiri in the sushi combination was good, but the sacramento roll it comes with was a little dry on the inside.
