At Ramen MENRI, we use no preservatives.
Every element of our ramen—noodles, broth, aromatic oils, tare, and toppings
—is prepared fresh in-house each day.
From local free-range chicken and eggs to …
The food was excellent. The ramen is packaged well in separating the soup from the noodles/toppings so it can withstand some distance for delivery. Everything tastes great. My only complaints are the gyoza is a little bit small though and the pork buns are rather expensive for the amount of filling it has. Otherwise, would definitely order again.

Food tasted great! However, in my 3 star rating, I was very disappointed in the quantities of the extras, i.e., paid $1 for one leaf of bok choy and $2 for a tablespoon of corn. Finally, I thought the egg was the usually softboiled egg. This was more like a steamed egg (runny and watery) not bad just not what is advertised.

tokyo tonkotsu was FANTASTIC! classic broth, not super unique but it's not supposed to be. i love spice but even a little bit of the spice bomb was too much for me, so take that how you will. wish there were more toppings like bok choy, but the egg was very good. very filling and good portion size compared to other places like jinya or sakuremen.

The soup is flavorful. However, the paper bowls for ramen soup just don't work. One of the container leaked out of the paper bag. Almost ruined half of my order. Tori Kara-Age (Japanese Fried Chicken) is very bad. Don't waste money to order this. It's all batter, and chicken is all burned not really eatable.

Not terrible, but not a good value. Over salted, underseasoned, overpriced. The Tan Tan Mein had a decent flavor, but the bowl truly is just noodles and ground pork, with one sad leaf of bok choi. Considering how cheap the usual ramen veggies are to provide, the restaurant should consider if they are really making more money by charging $2 for corn or bamboo shoots than they lose by alienating customers with a stingy dish. The noodles were fresh, but dense instead of springy. The chicken was fine, but not substantially different from any other decent fried chicken tender. A decade ago, I would have been thrilled by this place, but DC has stepped up its ramen game way past this now.
