Mel's has great classic diner food. The cup of fruit is pretty big compared to most diners and I LOVE that they use fresh strawberries on the waffles rather than strawberry compote!!

We ordered 2 sunrise sandwiches. One with hash browns, one with fried potatoes. I'm giving this 5 stars but I would have preferred my hash browns be brown or even burnt. the potatoes should not still be white. The fried potatoes were awesome and so was the sandwich. lots of bacon, so bacon lovers will be pleased. I wish ham was an option. We have been going to Mel's for decades, and they are constantly good to excellent. Highly recommended.

Very poor presentation - turkey was just dry chunks dropped into the mashed potatoes, almost no stuffing, and very little gravy despite my request a little extra.

French dip was quite tasty, but was about 8 bites of food. I was expecting a significantly larger portion. Took a picture of my thumb next to the comically small sandwich, but unfortunately I can't upload here.
