Honestly I have lived in San Clemente forever. Always wanted to try Hapa Js. Orderd the Katsu and kalua pik Hapa Nachos oMG. Both excellent. A huge nacho portion w plenty of toppings and pork. Chips even crisp after being delivered. Chicken Katsu Plate perfectly cooked and crisp. Will def order again

the man fries are a heaping serving and with the hubris of an empty stomach I thought I could win a foolishly one-sided battle against a most delicious foe. 10/10 would subsist on a plate of fries for 3 days again.

Shrimp were good, but you only get about 5 of them for $20! Will not order again until price drops or more shrimp is added!

Decent food, definitely not worth the price in my opinion. The Man Fries are extremely sodium-heavy and you can feel it, not the same as it was a few years ago.. Also ordered the Chicken Katsu Plate with rice and mac potato salad--- chicken was rubbery but the rice and Mac salad were very good!

This place is the best! Pur whole fa loves the food. The portions are huge and delicious. Tastes like we are back in Hawaii every time we order or visit the restaurant.
