2 MEAT COMBO PLATE had HUGE portions and was absolutely out of this world delicious!!!! BASKET ONION RINGS was also large portion and super tasty! Rodney Scott's BBQ is officially one of my favorites now! Everything we ordered was so very good!!!

I love RS's but today has fallen short. We actually ate lunch there today and the girl taking our order seemed to have cared less she got our order wrong, and walked off from my husband when he requested ice because the machine was empty. I didn't say anything because I know sometimes people have bad days (we eat there almost every Sunday and service is outstanding ). Our order tonight, they were out of chicken so I requested that the driver order a RS burger with no bun, it is missing everything else but the meat and cheese. And still was charged for a 1/2 chicken plate. The sweet tea is a child's size. $84.79 later we have a child's size tea, a chicken wing appetizer, hamburger meat with cheese, a small potato salad which was supposed to come with the chicken plate and a small salad. I have faith they will get it together but today has been bad all around.

ordered the 2 MEAT COMBO PLATE and the BANANA PUDDING last night. something has happened in the lastseveral weeks. I have ordered from here several times and al we're stars until last night. the pulled pork was at least 50% fat and the ribs only had a few bites of meat.

Disappointed My family and I loved the Rodney Scott's BBQ in Homewood, so when we realized one was in Trussville closer to us, we were excited. Unfortunately, the CHICKEN SANDWICH was really small and not good at all. On my CHICKEN PLATE, the chicken was dry. The MAC AND CHEESE was super dry as well. The one in Homewood was creamy and delicious. The 12 PIECE WING were also dry. For the price we paid, this was a huge disappointment. Hope you all get right eventually. I put my own bbq sauce because the one that was sent was not good.

Love the food, although upcharge for delivery is higher than most other Door Dash restaurants...example, the 12 piece wing app is $9.68 more on Door Dash than in store. (Add in delivery fees and tips) I ordered a gallon of tea and received a cup of tea which would be fine but not when you are feeding guests.
