Everything was worth the price and more. Well seasoned Chicken Roti and the Mac and cheese was to die for :) I personally like my fried rice a bit blander to pair with my other foods but it was good too.

Absolutely Delicious! A Taste of the Islands 🇯🇲🌴
De Island Hut is a hidden gem! The food is bursting with authentic Caribbean flavor — the kind that makes you close your eyes and savor every bite. I ordered the roti with curry chicken and channa, and it was phenomenal. The roti was soft and fresh, the curry was rich and perfectly seasoned, and the portions were generous.
Everything arrived hot and neatly packaged, with a splash of gravy just like you’d get at a real island spot. You can tell the love and culture that goes into every meal.
Highly recommend if you’re craving something soulful, flavorful, and made with heart. I’ll definitely be ordering again soon.

Usually the food is proportioned well but today I was very disappointed in the amount of food I received for the price. The bowl is barely half full!

The baked macaroni is very good, as well as the stewed beef. The vegetable Lo mein is not my personal preference since there is a lot of ginger in the dish. The portion to price ration is debatable. Overall would recommend to others.
