I bought a goat roti. It was huge and filled with goat! I could not eat it all at once. It was so delicious and worth the $18. I always buy food here(especially their curry) I highly recommend. 5 stars across the board!!!

I had my bottle of hot sauce ready to add but decided to taste first. WOW!!! I was impressed with the flavor and the heat. Jerk should be spicy not no spice. I loved that the spice wasn't overpowering for someone who loves super spicy foods, I was still pleasantly impressed. It had a good amount of spice and flavor. I will definitely order another vegan dish. The amount of food was enough to share. I also enjoyed the fresh sautéed vegetables. Looking forward to ordering something else.

Everything that I tried was tantalizing. It has been so long since I've had authentic Jamaican food, and I felt lucky to roll 'snake eyes' by ordering from the right place on my first try. If I had known the portions were going to be so healthy, I may have ordered differently, but I'm glad that I ordered different dishes anyway. Mostly everything was seasoned to perfection; I would've liked a little bit more flavor on the oxtails; still, the oxtails were expertly cooked with meat that was juicy and melting off the bone. If you're a ginger lover, the homemade ginger drink will uplift as much as it pleases. If I could stay in DC longer, I would order everything on the menu at least once.

This has been my favorite place to get caribbean food in DC since 2020. I hadn't had it in 6+ months and this was my first time getting it delivered to my new address ... everything arrived HOT! With steam coming off it! Flavor, portions, sides are unbeatable. I recommend this place to all my fellow West Indians looking for a taste of home.

The food from this restaurant is always delicious. You get large portions. The flavoring is very tasty I recommend Sunrise restaurant to anyone interested in good food.
