I got the GRILLED SALMON with harissa sauce for lunch today. it was SO GOOD you guys. and as always, the house salad was the bomb. LOVE roots.

Roots is already the best place dine-in in Lees Summit, but its also the best to order from. Everything still comes fresh and hot, and everything reheats amazing. The GOURMET GRILL is one of the best sandwiches in the whole KC Metro, and the appetizers are fantastic. The standards of this place never falter.

Steak was medium well, not medium rare. CIOPPINO , hah! 3 mussels, one of which was not opened, 3 shrimp, barely any broth. Not worth more than 10.00, and certainly not worth 33.00+. Bowl of soup --- size wise it was a cup (barely 8 ounces, and yes, I measured it), so....

Burger was great, fries good. Biscuit was amazing! Gravy was very different from sausage gravy I'm used to. Good flavor but spicy! It was an orange color. The MANDARIN TART was soggy and tasteless. Not sure if it's because it was a to go order or what

Best restaurant around! They have the best fries in Lee’s Summit and they never miss a detail.
