when I lived in Davis, this was my favorite Indian restaurant. Imagine my delight when I noticed it was available on DoorDash to me here in Woodland. I had the lamb which was perfectly delicious and moist and flavorful. The pakoras were delicious and substantial without being greasy. I added the thai addition which included rice, perfectly cooked, large Naan, and a delicious vegetable curry plus a delicious lentil soup. I have enough food for three meals at least and I feel like my splurge was well worth it. Definitely five-star Indian food in every way.

Even though the shrimp korma (of which there was 1 shrimp) was "mild" , it had too much spice for me. The vegetable pakoras were too spicy as well. We have eaten at Kathmandu a number of times and the pakoras were never spicy.

I normally get lamb dishes here which are really yummy, but tried the Chicken Makhani instead. It is incredible. It is so comforting and filling. The flavor and richness is amazing, and there's a lot left over to enjoy later.

We branched out to new dishes this time and are never disappointed. Kathmandu Kitchen has been consistently good for 30 years through several owners. We love the onion kulcha, Mango Lassi, chicken korma. Samosas & ALL the vegetarian dishes. This tried we tried the Chicken Saagwala that was clearly made with fresh spinach & was light & fresh. Highly recommend the Thali.

This wasn't dal makani at all... it had capsicum in it and it, it was very spicy and had no butteryness to it. It was a very strange dish and not at all what I was looking for. And it was $15. Not worth it
