This dish is just divine in every way. Taste is so bold and full, portion is solid, the plantains are delicious, the juice from the oxtails on the rice makes it even better, one of my favorite dishes in town!

I likedthe flavor of the Mixed Paella. It was good and the portion was very generous. The shrimp, fish and chicken (breast) were cooked well. The plantains, however, had an interesting texture and taste. I think they might freeze them raw and then cook them because ive been eating plantains all my life and never tasted them like this. The Empanadas Beef (1) was tasty and the sauce was really tasty. I would order again.

Croquetas and Flan were great, but the Moros wasn't cooked right and they only gave FOUR Tostones for $8??? That's so ridiculous. Croquetas take forever to make, so I understand their price, but the tostones are way overpriced! Won't be ordering that again. Again, this reminds me why I like Cafe Cuba and Cakes on Hawthorne Blvd better.

All the food was great. For $8.50 though, I should have received a full slice of Lemon Cake so that was disappointing.
As usual the chicken 1/2 Pollo Asado and pork Lechon Asado were wonderful. I also got a side order of coconut shrimp. They were good including the dipping sauce. Warning, if you don't like spicey you may want to avoid the tasty dipping sauce.
