EVERY time I order from Monica, the food is above and beyond. The portions are always great, the quality of food is what's expected, and the love comes through: they're good at what they do and they show it in their food.
the Tres Golpes (Queso, Huevo, Salami) / (Cheese, Eggs, Salami) with mangu/ boiled green plaintains, or yucca is fiyah. I'd eat it everyday if I could.
the Chicharrón / Fried Pork Rind platter is... is... melts in your mouth. The maduros and tostones are fried perfectly.
I've had their other foods too, which were yummy.

Im in love with Monica's, the Pollo Guisado / Stewed Chicken is always fresh, and the portion size is perfect! I tried the potato salad today and it was way better than I thought. I love it here!

Mofongo is tasty and good portion but had pork meat in it so keep that in mind when ordering if you're a pescatarian or don't eat pork. Shrimp as a little overcooked but not enough where it didnt taste good. Overall a good dish.

La comida estaba como que la hico mi abuela. Men encanto como siempre, nunca fallan. Y el aguacate perfecto!!!
The food was like my grandmother made it. I loved it as always-never fails. The avocado was perfect too.

The portions are small. And they didn't even make the mangu ... they sent me whole boiled plantain. It didn't taste seasoned very well. The fried cheese was like rubber so I'm guessing not very fresh. I will not be ordering this again.
