Everything was excellent. The portion sizes were great. The rice and kale were a little sweeter than I would have liked but it's a preference thing. The Blackened Salmon w/ cajun cream sauce, honey bourbon sweet potato slices & braised kale - salmon was fresh, cooked to perfection, and the flavor was amazing, and the sweet potatoes were delicious. The Hush Puppies with lemon butter were divine and the Essie's Fried Rice was a nice blend of spicy, sweet, and savory. This is one of my new favorite restaurants. I will be ordering again soon. Essie's knocked this one out of the park, my compliments to the chef.

Disappointed with Fish Tacos with Cajun Slaw & Cilantro Crème Sauce (2) very skimpy on portions, Banana Pudding Cheese Cake had very little taste. Hush Puppies with Popcorn Butter are good but thought I was ordering in addition to what comes with the meal $11.50 for 5 sm hushpuppies too much

No flavor, wouldn't order again. Took a few bites and was really disappointed. Looks delicious but tasted like regular pasta noodles with oil. Didn't taste any Cajun flavor and wasn't cheesy like Alfredo.

The Cajun Chicken Alfredo lacked flavor. You can tell the sauce was made fresh which I respect. The chicken was well seasoned but the pasta itself was pretty bland.
