Oxtail Plate was great, nice portions, tender, & flavorful. Arrived quickly & still hot.. Plantain was so ripe & good I should've ordered more on the side

I haven't had a dish from here that didn't taste like it was home cooked with love. Oxtails? Amazing. Jerk chicken and shrimp? Delicious. Plantains? Melt in your mouth. Festivals? "Slap ya mama" good. And the service is always friendly and welcoming in person or if they ever need to reach out about a Door Dash order. I can't recommend them enough.

EVERYTHING was good. I'm from Trinidad, and I cook and eat Caribbean food, and this to me is better than Cool Runnings, even Gracie. The paradise chicken was well seasoned and tasty. Oxtails tender and seasoned to perfection. Love the sorrel. Will recommend

the food is normally good
unfortunately today i got oxtails which only had 2 large pieces and the rest were small
there was no flavor in the oxtails and the rice and pes seemed bland as well
very disappointed to have spent $50 on this today .

Listen… as a Caribbean New Yorker living in Houston, I almost gave up my search for real Caribbean food out here. I’ve tried spot after spot and kept leaving disappointed. Today though? Today I finally found the one. This is by far the best Caribbean food I’ve had since moving to Houston. The Paradise Chicken was straight 🔥. Seasoned perfectly, sweet, juicy, and packed with real flavor you just can’t fake. And the Brown Stew? Listen… that brown stew was on point. Rich, savory, and tasting just like something straight out of a Caribbean kitchen back home. Everything was fresh, the flavors were bold, and the portions were generous. One thing about Caribbean people… we know our food, and when it’s right, it’s RIGHT.
I will definitely be ordering again, no question. If you’re Caribbean, from New York, or just someone who appreciates real authentic island flavor, do yourself a favor and dine here. Trust me.
