I'm from Texas and came to visit my dad and wanted some fish really bad. I chose this place and babyyyyy let me tell you!! They DID NOT disappoint. I had a small meal yesterday and today had to get A LARGE. Everything was amazing and the bread gotta be a little taste of heaven!!

I love Spunkies! It's great comfort food. I get the small wing dinner with mama's sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese. Everything was perfectly seasoned, crispy where it needs to be and cheesy where it should be. They give you a complimentary role that's really yummy. Everything I've ever had from Spunkies has always been delicious - they never miss a beat. I really appreciate the way they secure your food and your drinks and write a sweet thank you note on the bag!

I ordered before I realized they were in a food court, then got worried about how good it was going to be. I shouldn't have been worried at all! That was the best pork chop meal I've had in ages! Seasoned just right! The catfish was good too, but dem greens and okra were fire! We will be eating here again and often!!'

First time trying out this place, and it is the most delicious mac and cheese I've ever tasted! Their fried chicken is just about perfect: juicy and lightly breaded. The flavor of the food is heavenly!
