the Mac and cheese was great! very cheesy. The Fried Lobster Gripper was delicious, crunchy. A little heavy on the seasoning but still good. I will try the catfish next time. The Caramel Peach Cobbler was good too. I didn't taste any caramel but still yummy.

Second time ordering here and again, not disappointed! Those bbq Wings ONLY (6) were delicious! When I opened the box the aroma immediately took me back to our family BBQs, 4th of July, and Great-Uncle Johnny is the designated grill master every year until he couldn't do it anymore. No one could grill like him. He had that grill that he cut out from a fifty gallon drum, made his own sauce and it was always on point! Well, I could have cried when I smelled it and I kept smelling it because I couldn't believe it. I've been longing for that BBQ experience ever since! And the taste of the Gripper BBQ. Omg!! The PERFECT sweetness and savory and tenderness! I will be ordering more TONIGHT! I love this place on repeat. But aside from that I appreciated that I was given the option to have my Fries fried soft. I thought I was the only one but somebody there gets me. Whenever I order fries I'm digging for the soft ones and to have a box full of soft fries --- THANK YOU!!

Somebody at The Gripper Kitchen knows how to COOK! The Fried Chicken Soul Bowl was delicious. Chicken had the buttery crunch that melts in your mouth and was moist and seasoned to perfection! The yams, mac and cheese, greens - amazing flavor. Tasted just like someone cares about what they are putting out there. Everything absolutely fresh and well prepared. Hubby had the Wings Basket (12) and it not only looked delicious, he said the lemon pepper sauce tasted fantastic! Don't worry about the prices because the portion and quality is well worth it. This place is on REPEAT! So many things I want to try here. My only regret is all of the times I've just scrolled right by them. Never, no more!

people were nice but the order took 40 minutes longer than it should have while I waited. then when I got home it was clearly made in a rush, small piece of fish and barely any sauce. $14? really? nice folks, but nah that was a pretty bad experience.

I love ordering from here. but this time the food was extra oily with the Fried Catfish (2) & Shrimp (6) and very little fries. my husband Grandaddy dinner bun was hard so that was not a good experience for us. At least not for the price we paid.
