The small plates are still a great portion size. I have tried many Caribbean spots around town and Ava's has quickly become my favorite. The spicy Mac is delicious and the meat is flavorful without being just too salty. Highly recommend.

The food is authentic  jamaican food. But Ms Eva, thisis the second time buying online and not pleased. I bought a large oxtail🇯🇲 Oxtail (Not Spicy)  and got 4small pieces.i bought a large 🇯🇲 Jerk Pork or BBQ Jerk (Spicy)🌶️ and got 5 tiny pieces. for the price the serving of protein is woefully insufficien. not ordering online again, I'll come instore for my food.

Everything was so good! The Coco Bread was big and soft. The Sweet Fried Plantain were fresh, warm, and sweet. The sm 🇯🇲 SM Oxtail, Rice and peas, and cabbage was seasoned perfectly!

Everything ordered was very tasty and cooked to perfection. I would certainly order again. I was a little taken aback at first given I ordered the jerk chicken but got bbq jerk which didn't have the full original flavor but it was still tasty. The portion size was huge! We had enough for lunch and dinner later. The cabbage was fresh and also flavorful. 9 out of 10 for sure for me.

Everything I got was great.  Mac and Cheese had great creamy flavor. The beef patty had just the right kick of spice.  
There was plenty left over.
I want to try the oxtail next time.
