I can't express how much I not only enjoyed the home-cooked food from Simple Soul, but the courteous and sweet Southern hospitality reception that is the owner, Joy (I think). I ate the perfectly seasoned and freshly hot-out-of-the-fryer chicken so fast, I forgot to take a pic! Joy is a genuinely beautiful soul and I think everyone should visit her establishment! Pictured is the Veggie Special and the Chicken BLT which were both AMAZING and rich in flavor. And they do NOT skimp on the sides---I will be full for days! Tastiest and probably the most authentic southern meal I had in Savannah!!

Cute spot with great food and customer service. I had baked chicken, yellow rice, collards, and baked macaroni. My partner had the bacon avocado salad and requested salmon on top. Everything was fresh and delicious! We also got smoothies made with fresh fruit and moringa powder. I highly recommend if you are looking for a quality meal full of flavor!

This place is a home-style cafe that puts the home in home cooking! Great savory food like my favorite beef n gravy over rice special; and also great light food like their amazing salmon over Taste of Summer salad. Highly recommend!

I had hopes for this after seeing the photos others had submitted. Alas I was disappointed yet again by a new establishment. The salmon was burned, the greens had more stems than greens. The okra was underwhelming and the broccoli rice casserole wasn't good. I was informed by my Dasher that the restaurant was quite busy as I had to wait awhile before I received my order. I gave it a try but I probably will not order from this place again. The Arnold Palmer was delicious so at least I enjoyed something.

Simple Soul don't play around! Great food and they give you more than enough condiments!! This is my first time but it damn sure wont be my last!
