05. House Special Chow Mein or Fried Rice / 什锦炒⾯或饭
Our first time trying this restaurant in pursuit of a new favorite and my husband, who is a super picky eater, declared Big Fish the winner! Just enough heat on the Mongolian beef and general Tao's chicken. Chow mein was by far the best of the restaurants weve tried in the area. The honey walnut prawns were large, crispy and the sauce wasnt too mayo tasting. We WILL be back, this is our new go to!

Ordered ma po tofu and jajang noodles. Delightfully generous portions. Ma po tofu was very mild. Jajang noodles were chewy and prepared just right. Both entrees had flavorful sauces prepared with vegetables. The Jajang sauce had a complex flavor profile. Added Sambal Oelek to give more spiciness. Enjoyed Big Fish Chinese Restaurant.

We ordered 02. Eggplant with Garlic Sauce / ⻥⾹茄⼦, 01. Dry Sautéed String Beans / ⼲煸四季⾖, 13. Salted Fish & Chicken Fried Rice / 咸鱼鸡粒炒饭 and 14. Stir-Fried Cumin Lamb / 孜然羊肉. Portions were generous and flavor was authentic. My only complaint was that the lamb was dry and chewy- I've had this dish many times when the lamb was juicy and tender so would hope the kitchen can approach that standard. The flavor though was spot on. Would order again for sure!

Sweet & Sour pork was dry underneath the sauce. Chinese Chicken salad was mostly iceberg lettuce, very few crunchy noodles and a medium amount of fried chicken pieces, very underwhelming. 02. Garlic Sauce Prawns(Spicy) 鱼香虾 and 02. Eggplant with Garlic Sauce / ⻥⾹茄⼦t I would order again. Packages were saucy and messy.

The shredded pork in garlic sauce had perhaps 3 small slivers of meat. 99% onions and slivered black mushrooms. Lots of money for absolutely little to no meat.
