First time trying and it did not disappoint! The Chicken Carbonara lunch was huge like enough for 2-3 people to share and it was absolutely delicious! The Large 4 Piece Chicken Tenders the chicken tenders and french fries were amazing, a little bit soggy from being so hot in the container but still the flavor with the boom boom sauce was on point. The star of the show was the portion size though goodness you actually get more than your moneys worth!!

For the price paid for the food, you'd expect the packaging not to be in the bag sideways, but that's apparently too much for Hero's to accomplish. The food was bland, the garlic bread was just on the edge of stale and wasn't properly cooked, the pasta was overcooked, everything was supremely underwhelming.

The Chicken Parmesan and Mozzarella Sticks were great, well packaged with excellent flavor. However, the Brooklyn Chocolate Cake was not a typical slice of cake as shown in the image; it was more like two solidified slices of frozen chocolate frosting. Overall, aside from the dessert, it was a good meal.

The Chicken Marsala was bland. Not flavorful really at all. Also, had tomatoes?
The HOT SUB Chicken Parm 12" was mostly bread (maybe one chicken cutlet on the whole thing) and also kinda bland. The side of sauce had a lot of flavor but not enough for a 12" sub. So sad.

We got Shrimp Fra Diavolo Pasta, Tuna Salad, a Chicken Parmigiana Hero, Tiramisu, and Crème Brûlée. The shrimp was overcooked and still had some bits of shell, the sauce was watery and flavoless, the chicken in the sub was overcooked close to the point of burnt, and the tuna salad is just canned tuna scooped on top of a house salad. The Tiramisu was in the bag on its side so it all mushed together, and the crème brûlée had whipped cream on top thus defeating the purpose of the brûlée. The bread included with the meal was so thick it was nearly uncooked on the inside, and it wasn't actually cut…just two big ol loaves essentially. The saving grace was the fries that came with the sub. It's hard to screw up what we can only assume are Ore Ida frozen fries. This restaurant used to be a favorite of ours but they've gone downhill over the past few years . I'd be a fool to order again. A massive disappointment on all fronts. I'm giving them one star because the food is technically correct and the other star because the fries are…well, they're there. Avoid this place and don't make a very expensive mistake.
