The food was absolutely perfect today! The fries were perfectly seasoned. The greens were flavorful and tender. The chicken was well-seasoned and fried to perfection. You can taste the love in this. EVERYTHING delivered was perfect...and that's very hard to do these days.

Some of the best whole fried chicken wings in the valley! If only they had cabbage, yams, or green beans (more vegetable options). I love the slight kick the wings have to them. My palette doesn't do spice well and theirs is just right. The Pecan Pie (Slice) takes me back to my mom's kitchen!

I don't know how they do it, but my food always arrives piping hot as though I was there in person. Fried Chicken, for me has a shelf life. If it arrives warm or cold, I'm done. 

A note to other restaurants, do what Gus does. Make believe that the customer is in house. Send hot food!

Gus serves amazingly hot and juicy chicken. Believe that.

The best fried chicken in the area! The chicken skin is super crispy, not overly breaded, and spiced to have a little kick. Both their dark meat and white meat pieces are so juicy and never too dried out. 3 Piece Dark Plate and 3 Piece White Plate  are fair portions. All of their apps and sides are delicious. And I love their chess & pecan pies as well!

Very very over priced and overrated fried chicken.  Orderd a 16 piece box, large sides ( beans, fries, Potato Salad, Seasoned Fries) and an okra. I also picked up a 3 piece tender meal for deliery. Total was $161. Yes I paid that price stupidly. Delivery via door dash was great. No issues there. The store and food on the other hand was really dispackaging. Packaging  was horrible.  Cold stuff with hot stuff, chicken and fries in doubled brown paper bags stuffed inside sealed plastic which cause major condensation and soggy fries and chicken. Seasoned Fries were not seasoned at all, Potato Salad got over heated and tasted funny, Fried Okra was like maybe 15 pieces to the order and had no flavor. The he chicken was dry and not very good.  It was our first and last time ordering food from here.   We'll make the  drive over to Nads or Louisiana fried chicken next time we want fried chicken.
