Very generous portion of fried rice in my opinion. Miso soup was nice and fresh. The shrimp tempura roll was large and made to perfection.

The Citrus Salmon Carpaccio was delicious as always as were the Steak Teriyaki on a Stick (4). I would order those every time. The Wonton Soup was nice and hot but kind of bland and the fried wonton bits that came with it just tasted like oil. The side of Lo Mein was okay, it was a bit oily and didn't have much flavor but it went pretty well with the steak. Overall I'd definitely order here again.

Everything was amazing from start to finish! I honestly wish I would have taken pictures because the food looked just as good as it tasted. Every item was full of flavor and tasted super fresh.
The Chicken Teriyaki was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the sushi rolls (especially the Crunchy Salmon Avocado and Spicy Crunchy Shrimp) were delicious with great texture and flavor. Even the spring rolls were on point!
Packaging was also done really well—everything arrived neat, secure, and still fresh, which I really appreciate.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality food with great flavor. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Third time ordering here and it's definitely my favorite take out place in DC. It tops other in person restaurants with its tasty, fresh and quality options. The portions and fish to rice ratio is amazing and in particular the uni was so rich, smooth and creamy. Everything is displayed as in the photos and tastes as good as it looks. As I was ordering, I was already looking forward to having the same and new menu items the next time around. The order got here so fast too. Genuinely can't rave enough about this place. Me and my friends love Isshin Asian Bistro!

Isshin is the best. Their Sauteed Udon Noodle is the best. Their handmade dumplings are the best. Their miso is the best. Their rolls are so fresh and no after burps. Cannot say enough about them. Even dining in, they are so considerate, attentive and warm.
