I've tried five or six different Ethiopian restaurants in the area and Bole is by far my favorite. Everything is consistently fresh and flavorful, I especially like the kik alicha and the lamb. However, it should be noted that to go orders are not lined with injera so it's advisable to order extras. The dishes come with some, but not enough to soak up all of the delicious dregs.

They make fresh, flavorful Ethiopian food that will make yummy sounds! They can accommodate allergies and even spice needs. As if that were not enough, this restaurant stands apart from other Ethiopian restaurants, because they clearly have designed things to support takeout and delivery. There are multiple options for attaining your favorite dishes. They have combinations where you may select two, three, or four different dishes. They come in a compartmental container with a lid. The way that the injera is sent is also designed for retaining clean, safe, travel, and preparation for comfortable sharing. The injera is generous and rolled up inside a foil protected wrap. It made the experience of helping guests enjoy nervous Scandinavian friends their first experience with Ethiopian food (intheir own home) easy. I LOVE Ethiopian food, though I have never been to Ethiopia. Restaurants that have allowed me to journey on a culinary tour are to be treasured. Thank you!

I love this place! The combos including Pick 2 come in a cafeteria like tray separate from the injera so it keeps really well. I always add extra Regular Injera (3rolls) to bigger combos just in case! Awesome options for vegetarians!

NOBODY does it like Bole!!! Ater KiK / Split Pea Stew is my all time favorite Ethiopian dish and of allllllll the places I have tried in the metro THIS IS IT. Their injeera is also the best I've had anywhere. both the lentil and beef Sambusas (2) are fantastic, but the beef is my fave. I am so beyond thrilled that Bole Express is on door dash now so I don't have to drive over to the location near Como Park (but you should totally go there because the patio is great and the staff is super friendly).

The super veggie was delicious and yummy !
Alcha wat was packed with flavor and flavarful .
The food was properly packed and no soggy injera here . Bole Express is my new destination for delicious Ethiopian food .
