I love this place, especially during happy hour. Can't beat the prices for the large portions.
My only issue is the inconsistency of the Shakes (Batidos), some days they're delicious, and other days they're watery and gross, really dependent on who makes them that day. Overall, will continue to order, just might pass on the Shakes (Batidos) going forward.

The #5. Eggs Served with Mashed Green Plantains, Fried Cheese, and Salami Breakfast (2 Huevos con Mangu, Queso Frito y Salami) had pretty good mangu though the salami was a little dry & unfortunately the eggs were no longer runny (yolk had cooked solid by the time it got to me) and I wish they'd given 2 pieces of cheese not just one. The hot chocolate was not wrapped & just put in a brown bag within the larger brown bag so it's a small miracle that it didn't spill. I liked the Guava and Cheese Turnover (Empanada de Guayaba y Queso) and Chicken Turnover (Empanada de Pollo), and the Spinach & Cheese Turnover (Empanada De Espinaca y Queso) filling tasted good but was very small amount of the filling. Meat Turnover (Empanada de Carne) was ok. Corn Fritters (Frituras de Maiz) and Spanish Sausage (Chorizo Frito) were pretty good, Cassava (Yuca Frita) were all right, Fried Sweet Plantains (Platano Maduro Frito) standard. Overall value from here was good, I would order from here again.

The Cuban Oxtail (Rabo Encendido) was bland and had no seasoning. Plus they only gave me 5 pieces smh. The Beef Soup (Sopa de Res) had 3 pieces of beef and was mostly broth. Truly disappointing as I thought the reviews were accurate

Beef Soup (Sopa de Res) was so delicious, generous portion of beef and it was very tender! Super delicious! Also got Chicken Turnover (Empanada de Pollo) and it was a good size and good flavor.
