I switched it up from my normal go-to's and I am so glad Idid as now I have a new fav! Everything was beyond flavorful! Cant wait to try in person! Kafta Arayes was legit one of the best things I have ever had! The yogurt was the perfect seasoning and holy h*** the lamb just melted in my mouth.

I've frequented this AMAZING restaurant since 1992 ish, trying/sampling almost everything they have to offer. I used to work across the street and ate here at least once a week. Now I go for special occasions and my birthday. Every variety, drink, lunch, dinner & weekend entertainment is ALWAYS a special treat I look forward to. By far my favorite favorite restaurant in Portland! love you guys!

It's been years since I ate here. I was very disappointed in the bland flavor of the meat and rice. The Kafta arayes was also flavorless and greasy. Not the same restaurant I remember

The best of the best! Over a decade this place never disappoints. Al Amir has the most delicious food in town. The chicken tawook is my favorite with fattoush.
