The catfish was flavorful as well as the whipped yams. The mac and cheese was okay. Ordered from this place before and this time the packing was great with utensils and napkins. Also, this time, they remembered to include a crumbly but tasty piece of cornbread.

Best catfish ive ever had, best potato salad ive ever had best cabbage ive ever had and the cornbread is just amazing. 2nd time eating here first time I got the chicken wings and also was not disappointed and their Mac and cheese too. Love this spot

Last time I ordered the fried chicken tenders, they were moist and tasty. This time very dry and not as well seasoned. I ordered a large rice and gravy. Rice was good and gravy, but the size of the rice and very small amount of gravy was lacking. I would order again and hope that my chicken is nice and moist again with more gravy

I discovered the resturant 9/17/2025 while browsing DoorDash for lunch options. It’s a rainy day and I needed to feed my body and soul. This resturant did the trick. I ordered the Turkey with peppers and onions. I selected to have the turkey blackened. Ooh my goodness..... what a delicious dish. The potions sizes were large too. The food was freshly cooked. Just perfect. I even texted family members and told then they must try this restaurant. I plan to put this restaurant on frequent rotation going forward. Why I say the food fed my 'soul' because the flavors of the food reminded me of tasting family recipes.

I ordered the Whiting Fish, 3 with collards and. macaroni and cheese with a piece o fcornbread.i have to say that the Whiting Fish, 3 was delicious. It had pretty good flavor and the pieces of fish were pretty meaty. The sides, however, were not good at all. I can't explain the flavor of the greens. The macaroni and cheese roux was thick and salty. The cornbread had an okay flavor, not savory at all but not too sweet. However it was dry, and I mean DRY dry. I may have gotten an older piece, not sure.
All an all, the Fish is great. Find different sides. I ended up tossing mine.
