I got 2 plates, 1 for lunch and 1 for supper. I didn't get a photo of the 1st plate, sorry. The beef liver was tender, very lightly breaded and tasted just right. The steamed cabbage and steamed okra were also good and cooked just to the right tenderness. I love the small buttermilk biscuits, the fatback. The strawberry shortcake. I got a sweet tea and an unsweetened tea then blended the to just the right mix. I can't drink tea that's too sweet. The potatoes and gravy were good also. I had a wonderful lunch. My pork chops, Biscuit a ND corn will be supper, then my second pork chop and rice and gravy will be lunch tomorrow. My cornbread is going in some milk for a nice night time treat since my A1C keeps coming down finally. I'll have my pie tomorrow too. I can always count on The Country Kitchen for wonderful food. Thanks to all there working. If you haven't been or tried takeout go see them.

had the meatloaf,chicken n dumplings,sweet potato casserole and potato salad. everything was really good and has a home-cooked taste. Definitely ordering again soon. only wish they gave a little bit more fat back, it only brought 2 small pinky finger pieces

Okra over cooked and they don't give u 14 dollars worth when u pick corn and okra and I didn't receive my dumplings.

There was only 1 very small piece of fatback, there was gravy all over my liver instead of on my rice. The portions were smaller than usual, liver was very salty. Not one of my better meals from Country Kitchen . I won't hold 1 bad day against them. Normally the food is always very good and hot when it arrives.

Catfish, fries, field peas, rice and gravy, tea, wonderful piece of cake, fatback, cornbread, biscuit, all wonderful today. Hushpuppies a little overcooked but that's ok. I can always count on Country Kitchen for a great lunch.
