• 25-04-01My first time ordering from here. Certainly not my last. This is THE BEST combo I have ever had. Great portions for the next night as well. Spring Rolls are nice a crunchy , NOT SOGGY as other places dish up.

• 24-09-05I'm originally from the eastern US. For all the amazing food in this city, I've have had a difficult time finding a General Tso's Chicken in Vancouver that hits all the same notes as what I ate growing up. After trying several places and being disappointed, Deer Lake Wonton House's General Tso's Chicken & Rice was pure nostalgia! Sweet, spicy, garlicky, with just the right amount of ginger and sauce. Don't sleep on the Pork Dumpling (10 pcs ) either---super yummy filling, not-too-doughy but still tender, and a nice chili oil-based sauce too. Classic stuff---I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

• 26-05-07This is one of the best Chinese Restaurants I have experienced, and I have experienced many in my 88 years! There is nothing negative, cooking is always excellent, quantity unbelievable, and always the same high standard. Thank you Deer lake Wonton!

• 26-02-25The portions are quite large.i can usually get 3 meals out of it.
However the quality isn't great. I got beef and broccoli, and all the meat was on top, making it look like a good deal, but it's 90% broccoli. The veggies taste fine, but the beef barely tastes like beef.
It's fresh AFAIK.
I would not order it again.
