Wow, I always get other dishes from here but today I got the Saag Chicken - delicious! everything was on point and very fresh tasting. The Garlic Naan was also perfectly baked whoever was in that kitchen today 11/2 @ 7-8p YESSSSS this was perfect.

Ever wonder what the difference between an amazing Indian restaurant and lack Leicester or average running one is? The difference is purely in the complexity of flavor, along with great execution, portion, size, and price. Let me first speak about the flavor, because this is what makes Bombay Darbar so amazing. Every time I inhale an exhale, I receive a different spice in flavor note that combines beautifully with what is already to be expected from the flavors one would typically find at an Indian restaurant of the same dish. The caliber is without compare. I have to remind myself to slow down so I do not get too full too fast! The food always arrives packed with great care. For example, all the curries are wrapped in plastic shrink wrap in order to prevent village and leakage. Even the takeout big is a step beyond with heavy insulation. Food has always arrived, piping hot, and fresh. Portion sizes are larger than what I would usually find in the consistency and execution of each dish or phenomenal. The sauce is the right texture, thickness , and well seasoned. I can't say enough about this place! The restaurant has essentially destroyed all of my expectations for Indian food, whether it be takeout, delivery or dine in. Every other place is a complete disappointment and I will only ever order from Darbar ever again!

Listen. To start I don't usually do food reviews unless I feel really strongly about something and feel like I should give the sauce to everyone else. Over had Indian food and OMG this food is amazing. The portion size was pretty big. I ordered the mango curry chicken. 10/10 sweet slight nutty saucy. It was like 6 big pieces of dark meat chicken but wow it tasted good asf. And I ordered basmati rice. The rice and the chicken was a solid amount for the price. 2 people or if you're really hungry. And the garlic naan was so good and fresh. Literally 20/10 I loved it.

Flavors were overpowered by spice. The butter chicken, was my least favorite.
Portions are absolutely shareable, it arrived hot and fresh. I will say the presentation of the delivery bag was one of a kind. Not sure if I'd order again

The food is delicious, plentiful, packed with care, and they send it in an insulated, reusable bag to keep it hot. Excellent food and service!
