It wasn't anything special. I tried this 1 bcuz it was on sale. (These subs are WAAAY too small to be paying the crazy prices they try & charge. But they won't get that outta me for such a dinky lil bit of food.) So I only order if my fav sub is on sale.
Today, I was craving a sub though. So I got the #48 Italian Roast Beef... Very underwhelming. Bland. Had lots of gross chewy/hard bits of fat/gristle in it. I've never gotten such a disappointment from here b4. Portion sizes are still small AF.
Smh! I should've just stuck with my rule of only ordering from here when & only when, my fav sub is on sale. Lesson learned.

The chicken, although moist, was bland and unseasoned. I couldn't tell if it was grilled or deep fried. it appears to be boiled.
The value is poor, for $14. I expected a pretty much bigger sub. comparably to another sub shop like Penn station, you will get more bang for your buck.
The quality was just above Subway, but way below competition.
Will I order again? if they had a buy one get one free promotion, otherwise, it's a horrible value. I could see myself paying $9 to $10 for this type of sandwich, but not 14. No way

This is my new fav. sub shop! They had the subs for 30% off. So I was able to pay $9.10 per sub. Which is worth it, imo! The subs are too small for the "full price" of $12.99-$14.99. But when they have a sale for $9.10 ea., that's worth it to me! Both subs were delicious🤤. They are a bit stingy with the cheese. So I'd suggest getting extra cheese, if you like it.
Also, in ref. to the #29 Peace Steak: Know that the veggies will NOT be cooked/in anyway soft. The staff just line the bottom of the sub with the raw/hard chunks of veggies, then they add meat, a sprinkle of cheese on top, briefly toast. So I get the green peppers & onions taken off (even tho I like them) Bcuz the raw/uncooked/hard veggies throw off the whole sub. Hopefully they start putting the veggies on top while toasting, or something to cook them. Id love to have them on the sandwich, if they were cooked/soft.
Other than that, as long as they have the 30% off ($9.10 per sub) I'll definitely be back & ordering more.

Part time vegan and first time Dave's customer here. I ordered the #41 Vegan Meatball sub and it did not disappoint. Textures and flavor were spot on for the meatballs and the vegan cheese was so melty! The perfect comfort meal for today. I will definitely be ordering again!

Both the Lg Clevelander and the #8 Lg Crazy Dave were soo good, and the large subs are HUGE! We will be ordering them again.
