The SOUL ROLL was pretty good, mostly dough but filling was good. V. MAC & CHEESE and SWEET POTATOES were phenomenal! Would for sure order again, minus the rolls. Great job yall!

I've been vean for 17 years, and this is genuinely some of the best food I've had the privilege of eating. I ordered a double portion of the Mac and Cheese, along with the Greens, Baked Beans, and cornbread. Everything was extremely well seasoned and flavorful, and I was really impressed by the texture and taste of the Mac. it was enough for two big meals too. Absolutely would recommend and will be ordering again.

The food was phenomenal! I did a pickup order and it was no wait getting my food. I ended
up ordering a mango /peach slushie with my food and it was amazing.
The FRIED CHICKEN WINGS were really crispy and seasoned to perfection! 10/10
The yams / mac and cheese combo , IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW! SO BOMB 10/10
The TRADITIONAL GREENS were great as well, could've had a little more pot liquor and smoked meat in the container, but it was a 8/10

I ordered from this restaurant plenty of times. But this time and the last was not good. Salmon was over cooked with barely filling inside. Mac n cheese was just noodles wheres the cheese? the greens was ok but it wasnt fresh greens taste like out the can. The cornbread was probably the best thing and you cant mess up on jiffy cornbread. I dont know if they changed chefs or something but quality been terrible and too pricey for that. Sorry wont be returning to the west side location. The Orland Park one is definitely better

PHENOMENAL. I'm not form this city so I haven't had a home-cooked Soul Food meal in a while & this gave me all I needed!!
It was my first time trying fried green tomatoes so their 4 PC FRIED GREEN TOMATOES got me hooked! The sauce that came with it was also top tier. I also had the SOUL ROLL and vegan MAC & CHEESE on the side [that's honestly what I wanted all along]. I'll be honest, the Mac noodles were a bit too soft/overcooked but I'm glad I tried this place. The SOUL ROLL made sure the Mac was touching the yams [iykyk] so that made my day.
Overall, great food!
