I really loved the food from here. It's my first time trying this food and I will definitely ordering again. The Samarkand Plov - Samarqand Osh was on a nice bed of very aromatic flavorful rice. The beef shank was tender and te onions were slow cooked with a carmelized taste. The Juicy deep fried turnovers - Chebureki was t bomb. So good for a simple (but not) ground beef cheese micrure with that carmelized flavoragain took it over the top. The Medovik - Honey cake was light puff- pastry layers with a delightful honey filling was perfect. I encourage everyone to try this hidden gem.

Everything was delicious. The dough for the Samsa - Samosa (small) was flaky and flavorful. The Borsh - Red soup was also delicious. It was my first time trying that and it is so rich and complex and tasty! The kebabs were also tender and very flavorful.

Unfortunately, I have to write a review about this restaurant where I placed an order. It was my first time here, and the samosa was simply overcooked. It was burnt both inside and out. It was inedible. As for the salad I ordered, it was supposed to be “Shuba,” but it wasn’t that at all. It was a completely different salad. The main ingredient in “herring under a fur coat” is salted herring, but it wasn’t there. There was a completely different fish. It wasn’t “herring under a fur coat” at all. I was very dissatisfied with my order.

If you’re going to do something, do it well — otherwise don’t do it at all. Yes, it’s cheap, but out of the five items we ordered, we didn’t like a single one. It’s better to make smaller portions but tasty, because this is just awful.

The Borsh - Red soup was very oily and didnt have much flavor. the Fried pies - Perashki (w/potato - kartoshka) had a weird after taste, almost plasticy tasting. the Manti - Dumplings were decent. most edible thing i ate here.
