The pulled chicken was tender, not dry at all. Could have used more salt. The house barbecue sauce was very good - sweet & spicy with a kick on the end. Funeral potatoes for me are better than the scalloped potatoes I had last order. The butter beans were tender in a slightly savory broth - too much salt, though.
The food is first-rate quality so I will continue sampling their menu.

Hogshead is a true gem. Been going since the day they opened 10+ yrs ago. Everything is wonderful and is always consistent. Next time you're craving a sando swing by and grab the blackened Chicken and a side of loaded tots and a pillow and thank me later

The Cheese Steak was delicious, meat tender, seasoned nicely & there was pleny of it. The coleslaw was bland. The scalloped potatoes were ok. Have not eaten the blackberry cobbler yet. Food not cheap, but I would try it again

Gallon Sweet Tea was warm which should have been cold or chilled. very expensive. The Cheese Steak was very delicious and had a lot of meat and it was fresh. Pulled Pork Sandwich Pulled Pork Sandwich was well done and plenty of meat and the food was still hot. I must say I never had to wait an hour long for food, but it was worth it. Will order again.
