Molcajete Grill Rocks! I am WOW'd by the quality and freshness of their food! The Chips and Salsa , so fresh, crispy and thin, the salsa was as described "vibrant". Delicious Fresh Guacamole and a combination plate with a chicken enchilada, fish taco, beans and rice, was absolutely amazing! I am so excited to have this on my radar and plan to order more often! I give this place two thimbsup and 5 big Stars!

The Meat Quesadilla tasted very bland- the meat was gamey and hard to chew and the tortilla and cheese tasted like cardboard. It also included a small portion of lettuce, pitiful chunks of tomato, and a lot of sour cream. Large portions, but no flavor. Tomato freshness is dubious at best.
The Fresh Salsa wasn't fresh. I unfortunately had to throw it out- tasted sour and was very watery. No significant chunks of tomato or onion. I likely could get better from a jarred generic brand of salsa.
The Fresh Guacamole was bland and poor. It tasted like fresh avocado but with the very sharp, pungent taste of straight chopped onions. If I wanted fresh avocados, I would go to the grocery store.

I ordered the Molcajete Tostada Salad and a Chile Relleno. The salad was flavorful and chock full of meat. The Chile Relleno was really good and the portion a good size. This made 2 meals for me - So, i got a double banger for my buck. I love this place.

After several items tasted this is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants I’ve come across in years. Mexican restaurants must be able to make salsa/hot sauce to start, beans second. Authentic flavors on both.
