Every single thing here is an A+. Theres no shocking flavor combos but there's a ton of flavor in every dish. For example, the tomatoes on the grilled cheese are marinated and the pesto drizzle adds such extra richness vs other "adult grilled chrese" attempts. The Southport Cuban's use of gardiniera makes it refreshingly without too much heat and morethan justifie its Southport name. Also generous kids menu. Plan delivery and pick up to be a high side of timing estimates but it's so worth any wait.

The Chicken salad sandwich is a great value. It's delicious & it comes with a great side salad. Southport Grocer is one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood for lunch & it is always quick and easy to pickup my food there.

One of my favorite spots in the city, Southport Grocery and Cafe never disappoints! Trying to decide between all of the excellent dishes is tough, but some of personal preferences are the chorizo & eggs and the bread pudding pancakes. I always feel great supporting a local business!

I'm convinced the Bread Pudding Pancakes are made by angels. SO FREAKIN' DELICIOUS. The breakfast sandwich is wonderful as well. The cupcake pancakes are super super super sweet. Still delicious, but more dessert-like.

The seasonal salad was fresh and tasty. However, be warned it is very light on the chicken. Just a sprinkle of it, maybe 1 ounce. If you like to get some protein in your lunch, look elsewhere.
