Joe kept my dad out of trouble as a teenager by giving him a job at the original shop, and my dad never forgot it—he brought us these steaks once a week growing up. They're practically in my blood! Enormous, delicious, never greasy, and always made with tender loving care. Hands-down the best in Philly!

The Cheesesteak is really good, when you get them from other places normally they are dripping with grease and are very soggy. This was very well rounded not soggy at all but the roll was super soft still. The onions are above and beyond good they went perfect with everything. The fries are very good and they give you a lot of them. Would one hundred percent recommend this place.

Best cheesesteaks ever. Been customers of Joes since it was named Chinks. They were special then n are still the best. The milkshakes are thick n creamy n made w real ice cream. N for all of you that order to go, the milkshakes travel very well. If you cant make it in person order early, bc they are sooo good n get so busy they have to stop taking orders. Really they are that good. ,

The Large Chicken Cheesesteak was very delicious, though the chicken could have been more tender and juicy, though this is a problem with every chicken cheesesteak I've had so far, and this one was above and beyond those in quality regardless. The Honey Mustard Chicken Fries had the same quality chicken, but were hot and delicious with just enough honey mustard. Fast service, everything to order, will eat here again.

I have never seen a place over cook meat and onions for a cheesesteak like this place - tasted burnt. They overcook everything - fries overcooked and dry. Chicken tenders terrible.
I don't recommend wasting money here, not worth the prices.
