I was in the mood for something flaky, sweet, and savory — that perfect buttery, layered pastry situation. So I ordered the cinnamon, the spinach, and the pecan feta.
When I got them, I’ll be honest — they looked a little disappointing.
But here’s where everything changed.
I put a white paper towel with a little water on it right on top of them and microwaved them for 50 seconds. That was the magic move.
The cinnamon pastry came out warm, soft, and perfectly sweet with delicate, flaky layers pulling apart beautifully. The spinach was savory and rich, wrapped in buttery flakiness that finally came to life. And the pecan feta? Absolutely unreal — that sweet-and-salty balance tucked inside tender, golden, flaky pastry.
What started as “hmm” turned into “oh wow.” Exactly what I was craving: flaky, sweet, savory perfection.
