A Taste of Home in Augusta – 5 Stars!
I moved from South Florida to Augusta, GA a few years ago and had yet to find a Haitian restaurant—until now! I was so excited when I saw a post on Facebook about a new Haitian spot in town. Being homesick for that authentic flavor, I had to give it a try, and let me tell you—it did not disappoint!
The food made me feel right at home. The plantains had the perfect balance of soft and crispy—absolutely out of this world. The rice was so flavorful, it didn’t even need sauce. And the pikliz with the griot? A match made in heaven!
I’m beyond excited to keep coming back for more and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for real, delicious Haitian food. Five stars all the way!

I ordered the Small Entree Meal with rice and beans and stewed chicken. Everything came hot and tasted so good! The rice is so full of flavor. If you want to get full and feel like you ate some home cooked food this restaurant is a great choice.

Flavored really good, but very unfair on portion size. Main entre was stewed turkey with 2 sides(salad and rean beans and rice). In the dinner tray box, the main entre was stacked with a huge mountain of red beans and rice. The 2 side compartments held a bland salad and what was supposed to be the main entre...the stewed turkey! I felt cheated! In the end, I feel like I paid a lot for an entre of red beans and rice!

I'm haitian-dominican and I've been praying for a haitian restaurant since moving to Augusta. I ordered Griot (Complet) and it was delicious. My favorite is the stew turkey. I sure wish they add bioullion to the menu.They alway pack my plate,I love it.

The service was phenomenal (again), food is amazing &&& I happened to ask if they had flags & shirts to represent and they did!!!!!
