Excellent soup! Perfect balance of spicy and sour. The bowl that it was shipped in kept the noodles separate from the broth, preventing it from getting soggy. A new favorite!!

First time trying Wheat. Sautéed Beef with Onion / 葱爆牛肉Very good.well seasoned.Beef was tender.House Fried Rice / 本楼炒饭.Very moist. A little overcooked and slightly mushy. Plenty of meat. Not authentic fried rice.Salt and Pepper Pork Ribs / 桥头排骨.Appeared a little hard initially but pork was tender and seasoned well. I would order it again.

Whereas other Asian restaurants have no qualms serving tough or overcooked meat in entrees, Wheat takes pains to ensur their offerings are plump and tasty. The portions are plentiful with memorable taste. I have tried several different dishes, but always want to include the Orange Chicken, with which I include an order of the White Rice. Plenty of delicious food to enjoy, for several meals. This restaurant should carry a higher rating. Kudos to Wheat.

Consistently amazing- the Tomato and Scrambled Egg Noodle Soup / 番茄鸡蛋面 is stellar, the Cucumber Salad with Szechuan Sauce / 涼拌黄瓜 and Sautéed Eggplants with Garlic Sauce / 鱼香茄子 were also excellent. You won't be disappointed! Just as great for delivery!

Wheat is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've tried in the Triangle, though some dishes can be hit or miss--especially the Americanized Chinese food. While their spicy food is *truly* spicy, it's probably what they do best.
I would recommend their combination House Fried Rice / 本楼炒饭, which had an amazing wok flavor and was chock full of large protein. I was not a fan of the Sesame Chicken / 芝麻鸡 because it tastes identical to General Tso's chicken you can get elsewhere. Every beef dish I've tried at Wheat been very tasty, as the cut of beef they use is very tender. Although the food is moderately expensive, the portion sizes are very large.
Everytime I've ordered from here, I've been able to find a new dish I like due to the extensive menu--which is always a plus!
