This was my first time trying Smalls, and to be honest, I figured it would just be "another basic burger joint". Instead, I was pleasantly surprised. Their fries arrived still hot and crispy - even after traveling across town. And the portion was very generous. I'd equate it to a large waffle fries from a certain chicken sandwich place... They had good flavor and were tasty on their own. Their queso has a very, very subtle kick to it that worked well with the fries also.
Now, for the featured item: the burgers. I ordered a pair of the regular burgers and one of the bbq bacon jalapeño burgers (no bbq for me). And I was impressed - the jalapeños were flavorful without being too spicy, so you actually got the flavor of the pepper as well as a little kick - more than the queso but still very mild. The burger patty itself was moist and flavorful. The bacon was actually a good chewy bite instead of soggy or crumbly. The bun was soft and buttery. You actually get a really good balance of flavors in each bite. I think what I like most though is that it was just enough for a small appetite like mine. Overall impression? I will definitely order again. Their prices are reasonable, the food is actually good and not just passable. And the service is quick. And bonus - they actually look at the order and get the details right - something far too many places manage to flub up.

Best burger I've had in a very long time! Just as good as In and Out! I'm an onion lover on my burgers and these sliders were so flavorful, that I didn't even miss the onion. Make sure to get a side of Smauce! You're going to want it! Will be eating again!

Burger sauce had good flavor. Fries were hot and crispy. I ordered 2 Cheeseburger Slider Combo but could only eat 1 burger and most of the fries. I have some left for a snack later. The 1/2 and 1/2 tea was great.

Overall, I would recommend! I'm not the biggest beef eater, but the sliders were very delicious. The food was filling and still warm when I got it. The only thing I didn't care for was the King Cake shake. It was really sweet. I feel like the ratio for the shake was off.
