tldr: golden soup + fish is good and would get again; sides were alright to try but wouldn't pay for them again
the golden soup w/ suancai and fish is pretty good! got mine with enoki and cabbage, there's a good amount of that and the main 2 ingredients in the bowl, which is also a nice size (for a very cute take-out bowl). The crispy pork isn't too bad, but the batter is kinda sweetweirsly enough; and it was also like that for the shrimp cheese balls, which the cheese wasn't great but the ball of shrimp around it was good! Soup also came with a nice sized rice microwaveable container. I didn't really like the brown sugar rice cakes the most - thought they'd be more crispy and the syrup is too sweet but also lacking like idk flavor? it only tastes like brown sugar of course but not in a nice way, just overall too strong for me is all. The rock sugar pear juice is just a bottled drink, which is fine it tastes great, just wasn't expecting it since it sounded like an in-house drink.

We just had the Sichuan pepper fish and it was absolutely delicious — super authentic flavor, perfectly numbing and spicy just like in China. The portion was generous and the fish was very fresh. Definitely one of the best we’ve had in the U.S.!
Only small suggestion: if the packaging bag could be tied a little more securely next time, that would make the experience even better. Still, we’ll definitely be coming back!

So worth the money. The set meal is great and the portion is huge. Plenty of beef in my soup. Very happy will definitely order again and try a different soup base next time.
