The fried catfish was smaller than expected and had a muddy/fishy taste to them as if improperly cleaned or poor quality fish. The (frozen) fries had no seasoning, not even a sprinkle of salt, and several were too tough to chew for my toddler and me. The gravy for the rice and gravy was simply not good. It tasted like the roux for it had been burnt and gotten too dark, and it tasted too oily. Overall, the portion sizes were not what I was expecting for the prices. The hush puppies were the only good thing in the whole meal.

Yummy food. Swamp fries were good as well as the catfish/shrimp plate.
