The chicken dressing was too salty and I don't know why they put gravy on it. Joy's mac and cheese wasn't anything special. The squash casserole,fried okra, peach cobbler and unsweetened tea was very good. Cornbread is very dry. You do get a lot of food for your money.

I did like the food; however I received one side that I did not order in place of the one that I did order. Also, the Mac-n-cheese was in the same section of the takeout container as my steak; therefore making the steak soggy. The restaurant needs to separate foods better to prevent them touching and if they are forced to substitute a side item they need to inform the customer first.

Do not get your hopes up ordering this like I did. The description is not true on what this restaurant gives you I know it says that you get a side of mac & cheese, coleslaw, and hush puppies but they just give you the chicken livers. I called and asked to understand if they knew this and the personal phone was very confused. Did not understand what I was talking about and when I asked to talk to their manager ended up not giving me to their managers so just understand that it's probably just gonna come with just livers. Also the lives taste like they soaked them in water with just charcoal.

Great food! The only thing that would make it better is to separate the sides so if you want 2 orders of one vegetable, you can get it. But we love the food!
